Thought for the Day
Today, I had a profound mystery revealed to my little brain. You see, I have been keeping track of how many loads of laundry I have been doing in order to see if the laundry soap I am using is economical or not. I have been marking a tally mark on the side of the detergent box before loading each load. WELL, can you believe I have done 120 + loads just since October 18th! That is insane.
Then, today, while I was giving a spelling lesson I realized WHY I am having this out-of-control-Mt. NeverREST-laundry-monster issue... It's because we live in WASHING-TON! Well, of course! We do a TON of WASHING around here!
I shared this with my son! Who looked at me amazedly and asked what would happen if we moved to Virginia?
So....
I stifled a giggle and changed the subject by giving him the next word!
Okay, I admit it! I AM CRAZY! :) LOL!

Wow! That's, like.... THREE LOADS A DAY! And that's not counting days you don't do laundry and have to make up those loads another day! That IS insane!
But your son is brilliant! What a little thinker he's got! Virginia! How funny!
Many blessings!

Oh man. He was quick on that one. He must be a bright one! I'd still be thinking of something clever like that to say.

Oh I could have used your silly mood yesterday - I had a rough day. Mostly because my 18 mth old is into everything and fussy - and then yesterday I put him down for a nap at 11am and he woke up at noon!!! I was trying so hard to get all the school stuff done anyway - but he was creating too much distraction and noise. I ended up being able to put him down at 2 for another nap - but by that time the house was a mess and the kids had been in the house on a cold, rainy day .... by the time dh woke up (he's on night shift) the kids were fighting, I was grumpy - chaos reigned. I went out to do groceries and felt better afterwards so the evening ended much better. But I sure could have used a laugh!
