Saturday Photo Hunt: Annoying
The theme of today's photo hunt: Annoying

One Sunday, after church, a few weeks ago... I pulled into my garage and unloaded everyone from the van. Then, I heard a whooshing noise. At first I thought someone had left the hose running, but then realized it was air rushing out of my tire. My neighbor got a new roof and I must have driven over a roofing nail.
So, I spent 2 hours the next afternoon at Les Schwab. It usually is very fast at this small town shop, but it was the day before the big snow storm and there were tons of people getting snow tires. Did you ever notice that an empty waiting room fills up quite quickly when you add a mom with FIVE children to it?
The nice thing is that one family waiting was another homeschool family and the son struck up a fun conversation with my children and another family in the waiting area was a friend that orders from our health food co-op and we had a nice time catching up with them (we had not seen them in a while!)
All in all it was a bit annoying though! Glad it turned out to be FREE!

Glad you were able to get that fixed, & how nice to meet other homeschoolers at the same time!

Does sound annoying, but it's good you got to talk to your friends. / I knew that painter, Akiane, was homeschooled. She has a show in Idaho right now, so they did a story on her on the news. Quite a kid! / I also think Quentin reminds me of Tody. I didn't realize it until I was looking at old photos and thought it was a photo of Quen, but it was Toby. Quentin is actually prettier!

*sigh* I'm finding little bugs with HSB's improvements from last week. One, is that it won't leave me logged in as MomWtrmn anymore, even when I click "remember me." Hence, I'm "Anonymous" on this comment.
Another is in regards to the comment you left on my blog. I tried the whole insert image thing, but I got an error. That's why it didn't work. Glad to see it working on your site, though. Maybe I'll go on back now and try it again. Maybe I just caught the error when they were still fixing that problem.
Anyway, Merry Christmas!!!
Many blessings,
Christi

my most favorite and least favorite small town gift. When I lived in San Antonio and then Tacoma, I could go out however and not worry about who I would see. Now, I have to be on gaurd, comb my hair, wash my face... make sure my shirt isn't stained.
Hope you are having a wonderful holiday season.

Thanks for stopping by my blog...I've been a wretched blog buddy lately and a lame blogger in general! BUT, hopefully now that the cards are mailed and the family newsletter finished and most of the Christmas shopping done I can make room for writing once again! It's not easy!!! You've done a great job, and I was so humbled to hear that you are praying for my pregnancy! Thank you so very much. I am feeling very good. Finally rounded the corner out of the first trim. Amen! Well, trusting Jesus for all of that. In Him, CTmom2five...Christa
