Jaminacema had a great idea! She gave highlights from her blog for each month of 2006!
I thought it might be fun to do the same...
Jan. 14, 2006 - Do You Know How Much a Saturday Night Visit to the Vet Costs?
Maybe THIS one is more like a LOW light! I can hardly believe that this traumatic evening was almost a full year ago already. Our dog, Quimby, is perfectly fine now and still thinks she is a BIG DOG!
This was the beginning of the END of our public school experiment! Our year of public school only served to make us appreciate our homeschooling much more deeply. Now in our 10th year of homeschooling, all five children are back home where they belong!
Mar. 27, 2006 - HELD... and a self-pep talk... feel free to listen in!
This is the story about miscarriage and the goodness of God in a time of deep sorrow.
Apr. 16, 2006 - The Passover Celebration (that almost wasn't)...
This photo essay is one of my favorite entries! I have fully enjoyed learning about Passover and making it a part of our family worship!
May. 12, 2006 - How NOT to Ruin Your Own Mother's Day With UNBIBLICAL Expectations
A pep-talk to myself that resulted in one of the LEAST stressed out holidays of my life! I should have remembered this one more often throughout the last year!
Not only is this a BLOGlight... I believe it was a highlight of the angels in Heaven's year! I know they were rejoicing!
Jul. 5, 2006 - His Love Endures Forever: My Psalm 136
This is my "remake" of Psalm 136... not that I even PRETEND to be as good a psalmist as King David, but poetry is such a tangible way to express my heart!
Aug. 13, 2006 - I'm Published!
I was asked to write an article for a Health Action Newsletter. I loved the opportunity to share about "The Faith Factor" of coping with chronic illness.
Sep. 19, 2006 - Noah's Baptism Video
These two go together! What a sweet day!
Surgery? A highlight? YES! Especially when its a VASECTOMY REVERSAL!!! Can't wait to see if 2007 will hold a related highlight!!!!!
Nov. 10, 2006 - Family Photo Day
This was an exciting project for me that I have been wanting to do for YEARS! Even when I was a child I used to set up portrait sessions with my stuffed animals and my little sister! I love to take pictures! I was pretty pleased with how these turned out and have been learning how to do better next time!
