Oh my goodness...  wait until you hear about ONE of my recent blunders!

(yes, I said ONE of...  you will have to use your imagination on the others...  I'm not spilling ALL mistakes!  LOL!)

Last week (or was it TWO weeks ago?) I swung by my friend, Julia's house, to drop off some Shaklee food supplements and she was highlighting her friend's hair. 

Julia introduced me to her friend mid-project.  Her hair was wrapped in foils and she looked self-conscious and uneasy at meeting someone in such a state.  In my EFFORT to try to make her feel more comfortable, I reached out to shake her hand and said, 

(Brace yourself, you are not going to believe this!)

"Hi!  Nice to meet you, I'm Christina.  I am sure you don't usually look this SILLY!" 

WHAT????  Can you believe I actually SAID that?  OUT LOUD! 

Honestly, in my mind it made sense.  I was thinking that if I ignored how she looked that would just be dumb and awkward and it would be best to just say it...  head on...  and move past it! 

We chatted for a few more minutes and I commented on her pretty name and how my friend, Kimberly, has a baby daughter by the same name.

But do you want to know the WORST part of this story?

Later, Julia mentioned that after I left this lady told her that she has read my blog before!  She probably won't ever want to read my blog again after I said such a dumb thing to her!  But IF YOU DO READ THIS....

Tressa, it really was nice to meet you.  I am sorry I said such a dorky thing!  I am sure that in reality we would get along wonderfully!  Any friend of Julia's is a friend of mine!
