One of my dear friends, Debbie, dropped by and had tea with me on Thursday. I wish you could have been here. She is such a dear, encouraging friend and she is such an abundant source of information on a variety of subjects! Her children are mature and responsible and she and her husband are hard-working and kind.
She recently started a blog here at HSB... stop by and meet her. Tell her I sent you! :)

Apr. 17, 2007 - Hi!
I logged in and you were listed as one of the ones who had recently "updated," so I wanted to stop by and see what you're up to.
I've been skimming over your "CALLED" entries... enjoying (?) the gentle reminders. Thanks! :)
Welcome to Debra!

Hi there! I thought I would finally take a few moments to get caught up with some of my HSB friends. I finally posted an update on my blog if you want to check it out. Your U.S. states study looks like fun, my son is very into the states right now and has taken it upon himself to learn them all, including their capitols. He's 6! I don't even know where all the states are and their capitols! But, I'm also a product of the public school system :0) I think we're going to start studying each state in more depth for geography next year, so maybe we'll use your lapbooking idea. I'm going try to be around here more, so I'll check back in again soon! Have a great day!
