Romans 11: 33
Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God!
How unsearchable his judgments,
and his paths beyond tracing out!
Oh how GREAT are God’s riches and wisdom and knowledge! How impossible it is for us to understand His decisions and His Ways!
II Chronicles 24:19
Although the LORD sent prophets to the people to bring them back to him, and though they testified against them, they would not listen.
The prophets warned, but the people would not listen. The Lord tried to give the people a chance to return to Him.
Matthew 13:57
And they took offense at him.
But Jesus said to them, "Only in his hometown and in his own house is a prophet without honor."
Prophets were not honored among their own.
I am nowhere near being a “prophet” so why would I expect honor or respect? God alone is my judge.
II Peter 1:20-21
Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet's own interpretation. For prophecy never had its origin in the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.
I am CALLED to speak only God’s truth—never require air for my OWN ideas. God is The One and Only Source of TRUTH. It is okay to ponder, but do not require respect, acceptance or agreement for your OWN words. ONLY expect honor towards God’s Word.
