It's A Conspiracy, I Tell Ya...
I have a conspiracy theory... its like this... I think Jacque Dixon really HAAAAS named her new sweet little PixieMuffin (as so named by JenIg!) I think she has had a name all along. I think this is just a clever ploy by the Dixon-Chicks to keep us checking their blogs everyday!
Just HAVING a new baby AND being aptly nominated for Homeshool Blogger Awards wasn't enough to keep their tickers countin' they sat and thought about how they could ensure lots of blog traffic...
I imagine their conversation went something like this:
"AHA! What if we keep the new little girl's name a secret? Everyone just HAS to know what her name is! They will check and check and check.. even more than once a day and we will become the most famous bloggers in blogland!"
And they are right. At least I THINK they are right, because I, for one, have been obsessively checking everyday to see if the precious new addition has yet been given a name befitting such a beautiful princess of a baby!
So, come on Dixon's! Spill the beans already! You must be calling her something by NOW!

May. 1, 2007 - names!

I know what you mean! Amanda emailed me a beautiful picture of her and referred to her as Sweetness! Come on, give up the name!!
I definitely have a huge thing about naming babies properly. While I'm certainly no expert in the field, my friends have come to me for tie breakers and assistance many times ;-)
I think your children's names are lovely and go together very well. None of them stand out from the crowd (in a bad way). All are regular names (which I consider a very good thing!) I'm not into naming children for fruit or stereos or anything like that! One thing I noticed right away besides them all being soft sounding names was that they all have an n. I love that. It's kind of themey, but not kitschy and probably only someone obsessed with names (like me) would ever notice it. Having said that, even though you two choices for baby #6 don't have an n, I think (in my very humble opinion) that they go very well.
I like the Biblical names as middles, it's something special that each child gets a part of. It's a great tradition.
I have had fun reading your blog and learning about you and your family. Come over to my new blog for a visit. If you don't have a blogger account, I don't mind at all if you comment on my HSB blog.

Um... NO CONSPIRACY.
My parents are just indecisive. I told them just to name her Lillie, but they couldn't decide!!
I am back to blogging. There are many changes that have occured during my absence.
Well you should be happy to know that SWEETNESS has a name... I am sure you already know though.
Yes, we had a very fun visit with the Suarez's!!
Thanks for your comment!!
Love...
