Recent Afghans Completed...
How is that for a really creative blog entry title! Oh well!

This one is for Scott, the new baby son of mumof5.

This one is for my dear friend, Kimberly and her new baby son, Liam. Liam is her 9th child!
She does not have a blog yet (as if she has time!), but she is one amazing homeschooling mom!
By the way, some of these afghans look similar, but I try to never make two exactly alike!

I am pretty sure this one was for a baby named Isabel Ann, the baby of a student in my Nutrition Class. I am starting to have trouble remembering which afghan was for which baby!

These are for identical twin girls: Olivia Jean and Rae Elizabeth. Their Auntie Heather is one of my best friends! I made and all burgandy one for their older sister, Anna Louise, when she was born!

I made the twin afghans opposites of each other. The one with more purple is for Olivia and the one with more pink is for Rae.

I started making these little name cards partly for my own benefit so I would remember what was for whom! This one is obviously for Kanasy Collette, ( hopefully, I spelled that right)... infant daughter of Stephanie10. You can kind of see MY new afghan in the background in this photo. I finally decided that WE needed some of my afghans around our own house! So I made a plum, cream and variegated patchwork afghan for myself. (I should take a better picture of it! It matches the comforter on my bed quite nicely!)
And I made THIS one for my dear husband:

His favorite colors are blue and grey... the body of this afghan was made with two colors crocheted together and it is HEAVY! I actually haven't finished the border of this one b/c I am debating whether or not to add a few rows... it is a bit small for adult size, but like I said, it is already so heavy!
I am currently working on a blue and yellow afghan for Dell's new baby boy, Kieran.
And my very next project is for Lucy Lillie Avigail Dixon! (I have some raspberry yarn on order from Joann's for the Raspberry PixieMuffin!)
I even have some Antique Blue yarn stashed away for my next boy and I am not even pregnant yet! Maybe........ or AM I? Stay tuned for updates on that issue!

You stinker. I have been checking here off and on just waiting to see when you turn up pregnant, and then you go and tease us with that last comment! Your afghans are beautiful. I tried getting into that hobby once, and nope, just couldn't do it. Sewing, knitting, and crocheting are not for me. I'll take music and baking anyday. Let us know as soon as you know something!

Well ~ you could have tried "Through Throws!" Okay that was really, really bad... I couldn't really think of anything better than the title you had already come up with.
You do beautiful work!

I actually wanted the free sample. Hey, its free Shaklee. who can pass that up??
That is so funny about the clothes. Mom said that she is a firstborn and doesn't have that problem. I am just weird.
