Landscaping Improvements
My multi-talented husband has been teaching our children all kinds of cool things...
They framed up a border around the yard, poured concrete, etc. I will have to post some photos of the finished product! Ian did quite a bit of it himself and Jordan and Kaitlyn helped too!

THIS was NOAH'S contribution to the effort! He carted hammers, drills and stakes around in his plastic dump truck!

Here they are smoothing out the concrete for a pathway from the sidewalk into the yard!
Then, Kaitlyn organized the following "CREATION":

She had each one of us press our handprint into the wet concrete... even the DOG in the center!!!
It was not perfectly symmetrical, but I think its cute!

When the children went back inside they left concrete-y handprints on the front door. I was pleasantly surprised to see Ian take the initiative to clean it up without being asked!
Ahhh.... isn't it great when our homeschooling efforts spill into a greater scope? I love that my children love to learn new things! It would not have even occured to me to teach them these skills! Have I mentioned lately how much I LOVE my husband?

I'm sorry there's been no + yet. I hope your dr can figure out whats up soon!
I didn't make the dress/hat. I recently got a lot of 8 dresses on ebay--was a great deal and so pretty!

Please send your children to my home! :o)
I still have grass all the way to the house that I have to weed wack. This is especially bothersome in the back yard where we planted our peonies and have to figure out how to trim the grass without chopping our beautiful flowers!
Yeah for Ian!!! What a great demonstation of character and responsiblity...

Thanks for stopping by to comment : )
Looks like you have all been busy with doing some fun stuff. As always I love all the pictures, your kids are growing so fast!
About the prego thing and all that... I am praying for you. It is hard when you want something so bad, but the Lord knows your desires even the little ones and He has a wonderful plan for you and your family. ; )
Hope you have a really good weekend!
Love,
Christina

What a great experience for your children! They will carry these things into their adulthood as valuable lessons (we recently had to pay to get a small amount of concrete because we don't know ANYTHING about how to do it ourselves). Life skills!!! AWESOME!
