SuperAngel bestowed a Blogger Reflection Award upon me today! I am humbled that she would think of ME! (Especially since even though she is a young woman... 17, I think... I admire her purpose and direction very much; she and her whole family actually!)
Here is what she had to say on her blog about the origins of the award:
I was so honored and surprised to find out that I had been given the "Thinking Blogger Award". It was so sweet of Mrs. Y to give it to me. I am so happy that I can have that impact on someone let alone an adult. She linked one of her fav post from my blog. I know it has been FOREVER since I was given it, but it is with good reason I have not done it.
I was looking over the Thinking Blogger blog, and have decided that I don't want to be a part of their awards. They are secular and very humanist.
So my Smarty Skirt (instead of smarty pants) sister has come up with a new award. And as the saying goes, “Great minds think alike”, another Smarty has done the same sort of thing. So I am going to do these two as Thinking Blogger Award that I was awarded.

There are the banners, go to Jocelyn's blog for the codes. Now here are my nominations:
1. Tiany
Tiany is a woman of great depth and insight. Her entries take more than a fly-by. I love how deeply she causes me to think and I find myself pondering her words days later! Tiany is also very kind and gracious. She is easy to adore!
2. Lynan
Lyn and I originally met on MOMYS.COM. (I think I may have met Tiany there too!) She is a reader! She reads and reads and shares such excellent truths from what she learns. I have learned so much from her and have swung from finding her viewpoint interesting to now finding it to be full of life-giving truths!
Julie's blog username was the first thing to catch my eye. I immediately recognized it from one of my favorite books Hinds Feet on High Places. She has learned so much of the lessons that "Much Afraid" learned on her journey and shares it all in her blog. I have learned so much from her and love reading about the joys she has experienced through adoption!
4. Dell
I love Dell's blog! She always has cheerful, colorful photos of her sweet family! You can just see the sparkle in the eyes of her little ones and you can feel the warmth of their home life! I wish that I had the gentleness that exudes from Dell's blog! What a blessing to be able to know her through blogging!
5. hugs4him
Michelle's blog is full of family life and the joys of everyday, but what I love most about her blog is the hope and joy with which she meets the challenging of parenting an autistic child. I have gained insight from her that gives me great encouragement in this area. My Asperger's son actually showed a real compassion when I read him portions of her blog. This is something he usually does not do... he usually does not seem to think about how others are feeling, but this struck his heart and he suggested we add their family to our blog... which we have!
6. Babymakers
This blog is packed with useful health information! Since I really enjoy learning more about health and nutrition I eagerly read and reread this blog. You almost need to print out her entries and keep them in a folder or something. Hey! that's a good idea! I think I will do that!
7. Jacque Dixon
One of my very favorite blogs is Jacque's. She is a mom that is so much like I would like to be... except for the goats... I am certain that they would not be allowed in my neighborhood! LOL! She OBVIOUSLY doing an amazing job raising her children as is evidenced by their wonderful blogs! And I am not just saying this b/c her daughter is the one who gave me this award! :)
I know I was supposed to pick FIVE, but I couldn't pass up any of the above choices. I actually have many, many more that I would list if I had time! You, my blog friends, are very dear to me!
