You can read about it at the above link.
My part of the story includes US having to find an alternate home from Costco when the main highway was closed due to flooding.
Then,we had to find an alternate alternate due to two over-turned semis!
It took us 2 hours to make the 40 minute drive home!
I am so thankful to be home safe and warm, but Ian is heartbroken b/c he had won tickets to a Switchfoot concert tonight and there is NO way to get there in this weather.
You can read what Kaitlyn had to say about it HERE.
I have lots of other things to post about, but I am cold and want to make some tea! :)
If you have a chance though... go check out my CONTEST on my afghan blog!

Oh my goodness! That is quite the photo. I was watching the news tonight and they were showing all of the flooding that was happening in the the states. Is it the same Pineapple Express weather system that is hitting us right now that is going through your area? There is so much flooding on the island here in areas and then you turn a corner and they are slipping and sliding in slush and ice. Just crazy weather! Thank goodness you made it home safely.
Blessings to you and your family,
Rosina
