The Brown Family Carnival #2
I always enjoy reading Homeschooling Carnival posts where you can find a variety of information in one post.
I think I have done this once before so I am calling this The Brown Family Carnival #2!
First, hop on over to Kaitlyn's blog and find out why
she is making dinner. Now, don't get me wrong... Kaitlyn often makes dinner and helps with side dishes almost every night, but this time was different! Find out why!
. Then, read the lastest in Jordan's continuing saga of The Wolf and The Troublemaker. He had been writing these stories since he was about three or four years old, but recently he started over and recently posted Chapter 7.
Ian post twice this week. Once about SKATEBOARDING at his friend's house and then about QUADDING with his dad and brother last weekend.
My children keep daily journals and often ask me if I will post what they have written. I always tell them if they do a good job then I just might! When I read Everyone Needs Education in Noah's journal last week it blessed my heart! He was happy to find out that I typed it up for him!
Hannah’s Most Recent Princess Story seems to be one part "Barbie and the Swan Princess", two parts "GiGi: God's Little Princess", and one part pure Hannie-imagination!!
Then, last, but not least, don't forget that there are only five more days to make nominations for my Afghan Contest. Everyone nominated will go into a drawing and the winner will be announced on Feb. 1st!

Thanks for the tour guiding! By the way, I'll have to use your bunko party menu sometime...our squadron just started our own Bunko group...
And Island Snow is indeed one of our favorite treats! Wish you could come out and visit there with me!

What a good idea! Both of mine have their own blogs. I will have to do this someday.

I really like the idea of having your child "pay" for losing a schoolbook that I eventually find by making dinner. That's brilliant! I think my eldest, too, will soon be preparing a meal for me as losing books is quite common for him.

You've memorized all that? Praise God. That is phenomenal. I've done James, I Peter, Hebrews 11-13, and Philippians, but only got through Ch. 2. I don't know what happened! Plus I did all the Sparks books and the 4 T&T books from AWANA (as a leader). My motivation in the beginning (years ago) was in case I was in a prison camp and there was no Bible, then I could quote Scripture. :-)
(I was really into Corrie ten boom).
