Sidewalk Art!
My children, especially my girls, LOVE sidewalk chalk!
Actually, Kait loves any art medium... sidewalks, paper, clay, sand on the beach (more about that coming soon!) and even butter on the table. I have been told stories that confirms that she is like her great grandmother on that last one! :)

My kids go crazy with sidewalk chalk, too. The boys are more likely to draw roads (and lanes!) for their bikes, trikes, and cars. Also signs and police stations. The girls draw houses and people (mostly).
Nice ballerina, Hannie! Love the full lips and long lashes on Kait's girl!
Btw, we're still getting some good use out of your lovely afghan!

I am TERRIBLE at anything artsy-- TERRIBLE...and I'm afraid I've passed on my 'fear' or 'lack of interest' to my boys...
So I bought them a Draw Right Now book...they enjoy it :)
That is REALLY great, though!! WOW
Do you sit with them and draw? How did you instill a love for this, or was it 'natrual'?
