I almost didn't post this b/c it is so silly, but I just had to.  After all, this is my online journal.  (I wish there was a way to have it hard bound into a book other than just printing it all out myself.)  Hopefully, it will be full of fun memories for my family for years to come!

The week of Valentine's Day, Ian decided to make a cake (which he often does).  When we went grocery shopping he and his siblings took some of their own cash and purchased supplies for a cake, as well as a plant for me and some candy for each other! 

 

Here's the finished cake on the cooling rack!

 

Uh! OH!  It's been discovered!

 

Double uh oh!  It's been discovered by a pug!

 

Conspiring to get the cake!

 

Is it a cat burglar...or a dog burglar?

(There was a whole video, but I did not post it b/c it would take forever to upload, but the thief was stopped and the cake was moved into the kitchen!

 

But soon the pugs found it's new location!

 

Yum!  A CAKE FEAST!

 

The pugs are STUFFED! (IN more ways than one???)

 

One piece of cake left!  Who wants it?

 

WE do! WE do!

These children really do have a strange imaginations!

Hey!  Where DID that cake go?

(Just kidding, it was delicious and we ALL got some, except for the PUGS!)

What an adorable story. I have been thinking about printing out each year of my blog and having it bound at Kinkos. I'm sure it would cost alot of ink but would be a sweet keepsake.

This is typed by my mom (hsb suzanne), but I told her what to type.

Do you have any pets? I forgot if I asked you that. The cake thing is pretty cool, so is the sidewalk chalk. I might be doing sidewalk chalk if I can find some. (note from mom: It's 'hanging out' in the flowerbeds somewhere.)
