It's amazing (and SCARY) how people follow that woman so blindly. There was even an article in our local paper yesterday about a woman doing an Oprah style giveaway, and she talked about how she followed everything Oprah said. It was disturbing the way she idolized her.

I watched this somewhere and thought OH MY!!
I've seen things about her before and her weird beliefs. She believes that there is more then one way to God, not just Jesus.
It reminds me of the Old Testament and how easily the people kept following after other gods. So sad.
But reminds me not to fear.. He is still in control.. not Oprah (though she may think so).
Again, so sad. But like you sad ... we should be praying!

I watched this on Mommy Life last week, but I thought about it today. Marissa and I are studying the Revolution. We were reading, "The Method of Grace," a sermon by George Whitefield.

"How many of us cry, Peace, peace, to our souls, when there is no peace! How many are there who are now settled upon their lees, that now think they are Christians, that now flatter themselves that they have an interest in Jesus Christ; whereas if we come to examine their experiences, we shall find that their peace is but a peace of the devil"s making -- it is not a peace of God"s giving -- it is not a peace that passeth human understanding."

The sermons starts by quoting Jeremiah 6:14, "Peace, peace but there is not peace." There seem to be more false prophets than any time in my life, but maybe it is my presence on the Internet.

Ugh! I knew a little bit about all this, but not too many details... it's sad how people will just blindly follow... all we like sheep have gone astray...

I thank the Lord for calling me out of the darkness and into His wonderful light through Jesus Christ, His Son, and through no though or feeling of my own...

Oh my ...... that is shocking!!! I can't believe she is so blatant about her beliefs(or rather "feelings"as she calls them!), and still most of America and the world hang on her every word!!! Eye opener for sure!!! Thanks.
