What joy there is when you just KNOW God will see you through and you finally start to see His hand at work.
Last night, a woman at church came up to me and slipped me some money... enough to cover a week's groceries. She heard about our doggie emergency and decided to bless us. She is not a RICH woman... and we are not super close friends... so it was a happy surprise!
Also, I have been spring cleaning early and selling some used books on ebay and doing better than I expected. I made enough last week to pay for the next level of math curriculum that Kaitlyn will need in a few weeks and I made enough so far this week for another's week worth of groceries!
God is SO very Good!
Quimby's drainage tube comes out today and I think it is covered in the price of the initial procedure (if I am understanding the invoice correctly.)
Today is Hannah's snack day at school and I was wondering what to do when I remembered I had a case of spelt pretzels in the pantry from my last food co-op order!
Hannah's class also needed donations for a fundraiser... every student in each class contributes an item for a theme basket and then it is auctioned off. Her class's theme is gourmet cooking and I "JUST SO HAPPENED" to have a Pampered Chef glass mixing bowl still in the package that I got for free or half price or something a long time ago and I forgot that I was saving it for a gift for anyone. (I have a gift shelf that I save neat things that I find at great prices for those times when I have no time or money to shop for a gift.)
Wow! I can't wait to see how God will continue to provide and I can't wait to see how God can USE ME! How fun to be part of someone else's miracle... and better yet if they do not know it was me! :)
