We took Quimby... the doggie... it was supposed to be to have her stitches removed, but the hole from the drainage tube never healed up and she scratched some of the stitches out!
So... it cost another $60 to have that fixed up!
While the vet was stitching away I ran to school to pick up the boys. Then we got Quimby... drove back home... then quickly drove the children to swim lessons.
Right at the end of the lessons Hannah whacked her chin on the edge of the pool! Russ had rushed home b/c we were expecting a HUGE food co-op delivery to our house so here I was with all 5 children and one of them bleeding all over her Sesame Street towel!
One of my friends, who's sons are in swim, offered to drive the boys back home... WAY out of her way! So, Kaitlyn and I took Hannah to the ER and they GLUED her chin back together!
Financially, God is still provided miraculously! I have been selling some things on Ebay and doing pretty well... well enough to buy groceries anyway!
AND.... Guess what? Jordan's brand new lost eyeglasses turned up Tuesday night... right between the dog's stitches and Hannah's gluing! So, all in all it was an emotional roller coaster ride of a day.
Wed. was pretty hum drum. Volunteered at Hannah's school... girls went to ballet, I mopped, did laundry, etc. and lost a game of Othello to my dh who is home for 3 days of leave!
Today... I cleaned and cleaned and cleaned some more. Then, to swim lessons tonight. This was the last lesson for the session. Ian is moving up to join Kaitlyn in Level 4. Jordan is moving up to Level 3. Noah will stay in Level 2 and Hannah is still working on Level 1.
Isn't this just the most boring post ever?
