Okay, here is the deal...
I have been working out six times a week... 30-45 min. a day at a fairly high intensity level. I have been eating 1400 calories a day divided between 5 meals/snacks a day. I have been choosing whole grains, lean proteins, raw fruits and veggies, etc. I drink a minimum of 80 oz. of water a day, I take high quality vitamins/supplements, etc.
I have not lost one single pound. I have not lost any inches either.
So... that is why I was going to the doctor yesterday to talk about the possibility of a thyroid problem. However, my thyroid levels are normal... right smack in the middle of normal.
Here is what I am going to try... I am going quit taking all of my supplements, except for my daily multi-vitamin for 4-6 weeks. The thinking behind this is that maybe the supplements are masking a problem. We'll see. I'll go back at that time for more blood work.
I really don't know, but I do know something has got to change. I am the heaviest I have ever been (except with some of my pregnancies) and I am tired of not being as healthy as I should be.
I am worried that I will be absolutely miserable without my supplements. I will really need to stay in prayer! I will also need to be extra careful about keeping my blood sugars stable... so as not to aggravate the hypoglycemia.
I have been reading a lot about wilson's syndrome and thyroid disorders... I do have a lot of the symptoms, but many of these symptoms also go with hypoglycemia and/or candida. My first choice would be supernatural healing! That would be nice!
Please, keep me in your prayers!
And by the way, I stayed in bed most of the day and feel a lot better now.
