I had lunch with my WONDERFUL friend, Julia yesterday. I met her in the commisary... between the peanut butter and the lunch meats! What is the strangest place you ever met a true, dear kindred spirit of a friend?

My bestest friend I met at work....no fun story there. Although I remember thinking, "I Really like her!" But the good part of the story is that "I" introduced her to her hubby. (not that the LORD had anything to do with it!)

I'm rather boring. But I did meet dh when I was a cashier and he was working in the deli (of the same grocery store.) Yes, he's a pipe welder but had just gotten out of the military and had to have some hernia's operated on so he was on 'light duty.' And I'm so thankful!

In Kindergarten. Does that count as a place, or just as a when? LOL. She is my oldest friend. And we have such a good time together, even if I am a religious nut to her and she's a public-school freak to me! Ha ha ha. Most of the rest of my friends I met at church. Though I did recently make one new friend who was picking up her daughter from my neighbor's house. If I hadn't been stopping by myself, I wouldn't have met her.
