Tell, me... why would a reasonable adult, who doesn't even like football... spend her entire Sunday afternoon watching the SuperBowl?
Maybe it is because I live near Seattle... maybe even though I KNEW the Seahawks were not favored that I HAD to be optimistic!
Maybe it is because I when I was in college the Seahawks used our campus to train and it was a big deal to us... back in the Steve Largant and Boz days.
Maybe it is just contagious when everywhere you go there are reader boards proclaiming "Go Hawks". Our church's reader board said "God doesn't take sides. But we do. Go Hawks Go." AND the other side of the board said, "The 12th Man attends church HERE."
My son wanted blue hair gel in his hair and even my 5 year old dd wanted to wear her blue and white plaid skirt!
Seahawk mania is contagious!
So I gave in, just a little, and let myself be interested in the outcome, but "we" lost. sigh. Oh well!
