I am pretty sure this will be Jordan's last week of public school. Shhhhh! Don't tell him! I have not told him only b/c I am worried that he will not do his best and/or will give bad attitude to the teacher and other students instead of working on his behavior and learning as much as he can while he is still there.
After we get Jordan settled in, we may bring Noah home too. Russ and I feel that we will probably let Ian and Hannah finish out the year because they are loving it, doing sooo well and they have totally wonderful Christian, spirit-filled teachers and peaceful, productive classrooms. ALSO, both of them have lots of parent helpers on a daily basis and many of them are good friends of ours and keep us up-to-date on everything happening in those classes.
Noah's teacher is a Christian too, I think, but Noah is just unhappy. He is academically ready for something more, but not in his maturity level... I think he could come home and begin 2nd grade at his own pace instead of wading through 1st grade at break-neck speed. He loves Mrs. Favero, and she seems very sweet... so I think he will be fine while we settle into helping Jordan with his learning disabilities back at home again.
Jordan is truly my most challenging child right now. He is so smart and sweet, and means to be a good boy, but I just have not learned yet how to properly motivate him.
Well, back to my day... gotta excercise, do more laundry, take Kaitlyn to homeschool ballet and tap, etc., etc., etc.
Have a GREAT day as you learn and grow to the GLORY of GOD!!!!
