History and STATS

Can you believe it... after I wrote that timeline I almost deleted b/c I thought everyone would start drooling on their keyboards and then they might sue me for the replacement costs when they shorted them out! Or WORSE... sparks from their keyboards might catch their hair on fire or...

Anyway, I did not delete it and it turned out to be quite popular actually. I got 13 comments... my most ever!!!!

Also, I installed a counter on Jan. 10th and have been enjoying seeing my daily stats! Tomorrow will be one month and I have something like 389 unique hits and 906 total. I didn't realize that many people would read my rambling nonsense. Weird! Thanks to all of you who put up with my silliness!

I was going to leave a comment on your "nosey" entry, but this one seemed lonely so I thought I'd do it here! I loved the timeline and I so enjoy your visits :) Isn't it cool that people who may be shy or quiet in person can be chatty on HSB! I think often about how I could attend a homeschool function and walk away maybe meeting having one conversation, but here you get a host of people's most intimate thoughts. It is a bit voyeuristic come to think of it...but then I have peeked in people's bathroom cabinets too :)

My name is Christina. I am 38 years old and have been happily married to my best friend, Russ for over 18 years! My username is quietcajun, but I am neither quiet, nor cajun! The nickname is based on my children's initials! The first four children are: Kaitlyn (16), Jordan (14 next month), Ian (12.5), and Noah (10 next month)... put their first intials together and you get KJIN (cajun). Sarah Hope is one of our babies in Heaven and Hannah (8 in September) is my youngest (so far). Put S and H together and you get SH as in SHHHH... QUIET. Get it? Thus, quietcajun! We are in our 12th year of homeschooling. We have tried public school, but we soon realized how important it is that they be HOME at all costs. Now we are back to having them all home again! It's not always easy, but it is for the BEST! Two of our children have Asperger's Syndrome. That is an adventure in itself. We are still learning! This blog is a place for me to sort out the daily joys and challenges of life as a mother and wife as I strive to love and know God more and bring GLORY to HIM in EVERY part of my LIFE!!!!
