AHHH! HERE IT IS!
The pile on the left is what needs to be ironed.
The first basket is for the Master Bedroom...
a pile of clean towels (purple and green to match our dragonfly bathroom)
and Russ's clothes on the left side of the basket
with mine on the right.
The next basket is the boys' laundry.
A pile of blue and burgandy towels to match their lighthouse bathroom
and a pile on the left of the basket for Jordan's room,
a pile in the middle for Ian's room
and a pile on the right for Noah's room.
The last basket is the girls' basket!
The light blue towels match their fish/ocean themed bathroom.
The pile on the left of that basket is Kaitlyn's
and the pile on the right is Hannah's.
You can also see a book shoved into the basket.
I often toss things that go downstairs into their basket to carry down with their laundry!
The little pile in front of my basket is the dish towels for our kitchen.
Right now (for Winter) it is decked out with snowflake accesories and decorations (including an adorable snowman cookie jar that was a gift from, Jan... Russ' stepmom!)
Today is going well.
Jordan is done with his schoolwork, today's laundry is almost done,
Kaitlyn is almost done with her schoolwork.
I have excercised
and showered
and have just a few minutes until Hannah arrives home from Kindergarten.
After lunch, I plan to do my devotions,
grade Kaitlyn's schoolwork,
put away the rest of today's laundry,
and then start dinner before
picking up the other two children from school
to take them to swimming lessons!
Feels good to be on track for a change!
I have decided that HAPPINESS SMELLS LIKE CLEAN LAUNDRY!

Feb. 24, 2006 - POPPED the JOY BUBBLE and other stuff
Jammie popped my joy bubble with that word... that really bad, bad, evil word... TEMPORARY .... yep... again, my washer is running, I have a fresh load to be folded sitting at the bottom of the stairs, there is a basket full of light laundry (all the way full already) sitting between the washer and the first dryer and have not even looked in the girl's room yet. I still need to iron that basket full and I am not sure if the girls put their two baskets full away yet! SIGH! Oh well, at least I see the "TEMPORARY" light at the end of the tunnel!!!! LOL
And... thanks to nsremom (I think that is who it was) for the compliments on my sponge painted walls. Yep, my two friends helped me do that. It turned out really nice. It looks like wallpaper. People usually think it is until they touch it! My two friends also did their rooms... exact same colors and it is really interesting how different our three rooms look with different accesories and such. (For instance, one of them has white crown moulding and that really lightens up the look!)
Enough rambling for now... this comment is long enough to be a post. I write some of my best posts in comment boxes!
