Yesterday, I showed you my FAVORITE room in our house... so today I will show you my least favorite room. Despite my battle with Mt. Never-Rest in the laundry room, I really enjoy doing laundry and strangely love the smell of clean clothes better than the smell of chocolate, or roses, or cinnnamon! I know... I am a strange one!
So... my least favorite room is my KITCHEN, but it NEVER stays clean and I HATE to cook! Here it is:

The ledge looks into my living room. You can see the French doors back there. They lead to the back deck that looks out over my back yard. To the left of this picture would be where my fridge is.

This is the Kitchen from the other angle. The right side of the photo is what you see in the first photo. The left side is the stove and cabinets. If you took a step back further you would see my pantry cabinet on the left. Ignore the dog food bowls on the floor!!!
Just beyond the Kitchen in the "formal dining room", but the children mostly eat in the breakfast nook which is on the other side. If you were standing here in facing the direction of this photo... the breakfast nook would be directly behind you.
The stairs, the door to the garage, Jordan's room and the Master Bedroom would be on the left. The Living Room, Ian's Room and Noah's Room would be on the Right and out front is the front door and front porch.
Here is the breakfast nook:

In the right hand corner you can just see the door way to the master bed room. Jordan's bedroom would be behind you if you were standing here. The kitchen would be to your left and just beyond the breakfast nook is the living room. There are those French doors again!
JenIg... the "broken calendar" is hanging up beside the phone! See it?

This is a view of my dining room with your back to the Kitchen. I usually have a pretty table cloth on the table, but half of the time the table cloth is in the laundry basket waiting to be ironed as it is right now! Right now, I have my winter stuff out so just picture the table with a pretty light blue table cloth with silvery threads and white snowflakes! I got it half price after Christmas a few years ago!
Do you like my little kitchen cart on the right? My dh found it at Goodwill for a b-day gift for me one year. It is full of homeschool books, colored pencils, etc!
The china hutch was supposed to fit in that nook, but when I measured it I forget about the lip around it and it is just an inch too long. Oh well!

So, the china hutch is on the OTHER side of the room. And I have to turn my dining room table kitty-corner so people can walk around it, but it kind of looks cute like that. The room in the upper right corner of the photo is the kitchen. I took this photo standing in the entryway. Sometime, I will take a closer photo of the contents of the china cabinet... there are some great stories behind its contents! Happy friendship memories!

Here is the entryway I was standing in to take the last photo. This is the last one I have time for today! To the right is the dining room, to the left are Ian and Noah's room and the boys' bathroom. And I was standing in the living room to take this photo. Next time I will post photos of the living room.
On the wall on the left are the children's most recent photos. Kaitlyn is the top left corner, Hannah is the bottom right corner, Jordan is the bottom left corner, Ian is the middle photo and Noah is the top right corner!
Okay, enough boring photos for today!
I am off to volunteer in a Kindergarten class and then go to see a play with the entire 5th grade! Have a great day! I know mine will be exciting!
