Ian loves animals... so he has a jungle room!

Ian really wanted to be in this picture!
This picture was taken from the hallway. The living room would be on your left, the boys bathroom on your right and Noah's room directly behind you at the other end of a short hallway.
Ian's bunkbeds and desk (you can see the desk on the right) I found for $100 when Kaitlyn was a baby. These were the first beds she slept in when she moved out of the crib!

Another angle of Ian's room. The bed is now behind you. The desk is on the right and the door would be just to the left of the dresser (which my husband recently refinished... didn't he do a nice job?)
Notice the snare drum... Ian wants to learn to play drums (just like his DADDY!) He saved up for and bought this snare drum for himself off ebay!

Like the "artwork" around the doors and windows?
Noah wanted a castle...

Here is the castle "guard dog" that Noah posted on his door! (Which is funny, because Noah is the most quiet, gentle child in our home!)

This photo was taken from the doorway looking in... so now the bathroom is to your left and Ian's room is directly behind you. Noah's loft bed and dresser were purchased (all beat up and scratched and drawn on) for $150 at a yard sale. My husband refinished them and they look like brand new! We actually got the mattress given to us (brand new) for FREE! (God is so faithful!)
Kaitlyn made the little construction paper torches in the corners of the room. I did the painting and made the standards/curtains! It was a lot of fun! Noah says it is "Disney-fied"!

Now the window is on the right, the closet is on the left and the dresser is behind you. I know the knight is a little short, but it is because I stood with my back to the wall and traced around myself for the general outline! My daughter, Kaitlyn drew a knight for me and a mouse king (see next picture). I can't always picture what I want to draw, but I can copy if I have something to look at.
The stained glass windows, the knights shield, the standard/curtains and the mouse king's hole have Latin phrases on them.

This is directly below the curtains. It says, "Lead with the love of God" (I think!... I did the best I could on the Latin phrases!)

This is Noah's dresser. On the left is the standard/curtains, behind you the bed, the door is on the right. The dog looking through the window is Chokkin.. Noah's favorite stuffed animal. He lives in the neighboring kingdom of Chokkin Land and comes to visit daily! If you look really closely... there is a tiny little castle on the mountain top... that is Chokkin's castle. Directly above Noah's bed is a cloud shaped like a dog too. It is a Chokkin cloud! (All of this the result of bedtime stories!)
More tomorrow! (Next is the lighthouse bathroom, the back deck and the front porch.)
