It was actually snowing... we haven't had but a dusting of snow all winter and it finally snows now that it is nearly SPRING!

Here is the back of the house.

Little island of trees in the back yard.

For those of you who accuse me of having no children... here are some "signs of life"! If posted a larger copy of this photo you would see all kinds of scraps of garbage, a pair of socks, toys, etc. on the play ground area!!!
Next will be the girls' bedroom!

Beautiful! I hope you can post bigger pictures of the girl's room...my poor eyes aren't good enough to make them out very much. LOL Have I mentioned that I LOVE seeing pictures of people's houses? Maybe when we finish renovating over here, I'll actually post some of mine.

Mar. 10, 2006 - House color and trees
I had to comment on Suzie's comment: The trees are a big deal around this neighborhood... as is the house color. We had to pay a forrester to certify that one tree was too old to be safe so near the house... in order to cut it down. We are technically supposed to replant 13 trees around the perimeter (the builder is supposed to be responsible for that, but its been almost 2 years so I am not sure if that will ever happen or not!)
And we originally had our house color disapproved b/c it was not an earth tone... the builder went to bat for us and the neighbors really had grown to like us over the 7 months it took to build and I think that helped too! So... I got my Victorian shade of blue that I love!
