This summer I took part in my state's reading program. The program this year was "Reading Road Trip" Every day I read and then I got to fill in a square for every ten minutes of reading I did. I made it all the way around the country on my map! I also won a t-shirt and a gift certificate to the books store. Some of the books I read this summer were The Littles and the Trash Tinies, Mr. Popper's Penguins, and lots of books that I read to my sister. She loves it when I read to her.  Her favorite book right now is Hello, Sun.  She wants me to read this to her all of the time!
