Last night I was sitting in my computer chair and telling my dh that I wasn't feeling right. I was achy and blah. I leaned my head back on the chair back and I felt my sinuses drain. What? Allergies already?
I looked outside and this is what I saw. Yes, those are my daffodils and irises coming up. They had started a bit before the last snow but I just thought I didn't have them planted deep enough. But then I saw this.
That is one of my Bradford Pear Trees. The other one is already leafing. I love these plants and trees. They are my first sign that Spring is here! My Redbud Trees will be next! They are beautiful. I went back in the woods to check on them, but they are not budding at all yet. See? And how do I know THIS is a Redbud? Because when they were in bloom last year, I put that orange tape/ribbon on them. See it? So, the reason I needed a nap today was because I was being bothered by allergies again today. It is OK though; I take psuedoephedrin and ibuprophen and am fine. It is a small price to pay for the beauties of spring.
It is odd, when I was on the Blood Type Diet, I didn't have ANY allergy symptoms at all!
You are so right, Spring is arriving, in all of it's glory!! Thanks for the pictures, it all looks so beautiful. Like you, I am beginning to sneeze already, but God's beautiful creation is so worth it. We are enjoying the warmer weather and getting outside more. I am so ready for Spring, and even the heat of Summer, which is so unlike me. I hope all is well in your home. Hugs!

Counting Down
The Holidays are over and I'm not quite ready to start a new count down yet. Maybe I should start a counting up the number of days I've stayed on my "diet".
