I find it very interesting that one of the two most frequent searches that people do and land on my blog, if only for a short time, is for some form of "love the Lord with all your heart, soul, and mind." (The other is noni or the Beckers.) It makes me wonder if there are a lot of people trying to find that verse or really wonder what it means. Are there a lot of Christians out there wondering about this verse? How do we measure up?
Hello, I stopped by to answer your question about my kids Thanksgiving Costumes. But, first I want to say that is SO cool that people are finding your blog by searching for God's Word. Says a lot about you! BTW, how do you know what they are searching? I would love to know how people find mine.
Anyway, I bought the costumes at Party City. I had planned on making them, but I found them there for $24.95 each. I figured by time I bought the fabric and pattern I would spend that easily. Plus with 82 hats to make I was worried I would run out of time.
One easy way to make a Indian costume is to tea stain a white t-shirt and then fringe the edges. Several of the girls made them for American Girl Club when we were studying Kaya. You can see pics of one of the girls in her's here:
(Me and my dd, Tiffany on an easy to climb tree limb on vacation in VA in 2007.) These are my ramblings on homeschooling and whatever else comes to mind.
Counting Down
The Holidays are over and I'm not quite ready to start a new count down yet. Maybe I should start a counting up the number of days I've stayed on my "diet".
