Nov. 26, 2007 IT"S ALMOST HERE!!!!!!!!!!
| That's right! In only 29 days it will be Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM SO EXCITED!!!! Can you tell? it is getting colder, (YEA!) rainier, (YEA!) snowier,(YEA!) and if at all possible, more Christmas-y! (YEA!) God is so great for giving us holidays. I get so excited about all of them!! The fun, the family, the friends, (the 3 F's of the holidays,) the celebration, the carols, Christ, (the 3 C's of the holidays,) and of course, gifts! I love giving them more than I love getting them. It's like a big game. I make or buy the present(s) and wrap it up, all the time keeping it a big secret, and then on Christmas when the rip it open and I see their faces... ohh! I love it. Of course that isn't to say that I don't like getting gifts, I just like to give them more. I love to decorate to. (Is it just me or is the word love popping up everywhere in this post! That makes a good point, the whole reason for Christmas is because of the miracle of the virgin Mary having a baby who grew up to be the messiah of the whole entire world! God LOVED us so much that he sent His son, His ONLY son, to pay the price for our sins. Man, if that isn't love I don't know what is!) But hey, I am no Scrooge. I LOVE CHRISTMAS! No 'humbug' for me! So have yourself a merry little Christmas, (haha) and a happy new year! |

Nov. 20, 2007 Just Noticing...
| Hi! So I just noticed that no one left a comment one my post about slavery... I that just because no one saw it or you guys didn't really have anything to say about the matter? I really value everybody's opinion and I like to hear what you have to say and if i've hit a sensitive subject just tell me. On a lighter note though, who's excited about Thanksgiving! We are having a TON of people at our house. My favorite Thanksgiving food is sausage stuffing! YUM!! |

Oct. 31, 2007 Christmas is Coming!
I know that it is still 2 months away, but I can't help feeling excited! I will find myself singing Christmas carols to myself, looking longingfully at Christmas decor in the stores, and wanting to get out the Christmas boxes. Unfortunatley, I have to wait until after Thanksgiving. Not that I don't like Thanksgiving, it is a wonderful time to remember what God has done for us, but I do LOVE Christmas too! Well, all I can say is, I love the holiday season! |

Oct. 30, 2007 Slavery is Just Plain Wrong
| Hey I'm back! I just wanted to post about slavery. I am now an abolitionist. (It's not like I agreed with slavery before, it's just I didn't really know that it existed anymore.) So now I don't eat chocolate anymore. Well, yes I do, but only if it's fair trade chocolate. Fair trade chocolate is when the cocoa beans that go into chocolate are harvested by paid laborers. You see, the cocoa beans that go into non-fair trade chocolate are harvested by child slaves. I just can't support that! When I tell people about, they are disgusted, but they always say the same thing: "I wish I could help, but I can't give up chocolate!" I try to tell them they don't have to, that they can buy fair trade chocolate, but by then they are disinterested and move onto a new subject. Well, to tell the truth, fair trade chocolate is a little more expensive than the normal stuff, but I don't mind spending a little extra money, knowing that I am boycotting child slavery. So think about it... it could change someone's life! |

| School started a little while ago and it has been a blast! I am learning Spanish and doing studies of the Bible along with the normal stuff. So awesome! Oh and by the way I now own a horse! He is so tall 16 3 hands. It is so great to get in the learning groove again. I'll write again soon! |

Jul. 9, 2007 Moving Madness
Sorry I haven't posted for a while. We are right in the middle of moving! It is at least 20 degrees hotter here than where we used to live. Yikes! But there is a cute little library. (Did I mention it had great AC?)  Our new house is really far away from where we used to live, so moving stuff back and forth we listen to Adventures in Odyssey on tape in our car. But then our tape player broke! (THE HORROR!!! ) But never to fear! We checked out Adventures in Odyssey on CD at our church library! (Bless them!!!) All is well now. Yea!! I love Adventures in Odyssey! It is so fun to listen to. We have even rented a movie or 2.I also love listening to Narnia in the car. See ya later! |

Me and my friend saw Nancy Drew yesterday at the theaters. It was really neat! I've always
loved reading the books so I was pretty excited to see the movie. And since it was a fresh
plot, and NOT copied from the book, I didn't get mad because they added something or
left something out.

Me again! My youth group just finished our AWANA book for junior highers. The age group is called Trek.  Two thumbs up! We always have our youth group right after AWANA and now I have to get used to going there 2 hours later. Ah well, I'll get used to it in time. Also, today is our Girl Scout ceremony. I am getting the silver award! HARD HARD HARD and talk about HARD!!! See you later! |
