I didn't mean to say it to the extent of nothing you are doing glorifying yourself. It is not a sin to be glorified, it is just a problem when you start to use it to glorify yourself a lot. For example:
what if I read the bible in 90 days, I got done, and instead of just saying "Yay, I finished the bible!" I put it up in the title of my blog, I went around posting comments to people saying "I finished the bible in 90 days! I'm so good!" and I was not humble.
It would be using a goal to glorify my self. With everything, glory needs to be taken with moderation. |
