Mar. 21, 2008 - Learning to Save at the Grocery
Today I signed my 16 year old daughter Macey up for Crystal Paine's Supermarket Savings 101 online course! After she completes this course she will be responsible for doing the shopping for our household for 6 months! The course is very reasonably priced! I know we'll make up the cost in our first shopping trip. Check back frequently for updates on how it is going, and hopefully, success stories and pictures.

I love Crystal Paine! I have been using her website for quite sometime now. Her CVS tips are amazing. We will have to get together and discuss some of these things.

is good and I'm even an affiliate for it. I got a lot of good info out of it, although, I couldn't apply some of the info to my own life. We don't have a Walgreens here, although, I did here that ones moving in withing the next year or so. Yay. Shopping for a large household is a big job. Doing this with her is a good idea. It's a skill everyone needs (even the boys).

How do you get coupons in the mail if your newspaper doesn't have a Sunday edition though? All the coupons we come across are for processed foods, etc. which we do not eat? Any pointers?
