May. 9, 2008 - Happy Mother's Day to you, and to me!

A mom, who, like Eunice and Lois (see 2 Timothy 1:5,15), makes it her aim to teach her kids the scriptures and not only teach but live a life of genuine faith in Christ before her children, laboring in love to see Christ formed in them.

What an honor I have received! To see what this award is all about, head over to Timothy Moms Blog!!!Thanks Sheila!!!!

Then, I got a real sweet email from my wonderful husband with THIS article attached. Oh, and he said that I'm worth waaaaayyyy more than this! Here's what his note said: ($117,000 might be a good number for the average stay at home but not for you. There is not enough money in the world to fairly pay you for what you do for us. I love you and thank you for being the wonderful mother and wife that you are. Happy Mothers Day from your grateful husband.)

And Mother's Day isn't even here yet!  Awwwww....

I posted my comment up here because I thought you might miss it down at the appropriate entry. Regarding your weight gain, my first baby I gained 60 pounds, second baby 65 pounds, and last at age 39, I gained 55 pounds. I started having babies at 34 and before getting pregnant the first time I was 120 pounds (I'm short). I will be 44 in two months and I'm 130 pounds now. I am casually trying to get that extra ten pounds off but not too worried about it. I just wanted to encourage you. I always got the comments "Are you having twins?!" Like I said, I'm short, so when I was pregnant I was nearly as wide as I am tall. :-) Hang in there and don't let all those thoughtless people get you down. Blessings, Julie

What a blessing your family is! It is so nice that your husband took the time to tell you what you are worth to him. He is a great reminder that we all need to do the same, on mother's day, and all throughout the year, to every one around us that we love. I'm so glad you were blessed! Wrapping up the school year is big work, sounds like you are doing well. Hugs!
