Hello! I found this recipe in a Book Called Teens Cook! I really enjoy looking at this recipe book! I found a Yummy Recipe......... Its Called Apple Crisp! Crumble 2 cups flour 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar 1/2 cup oatmeal 3/4 cup melted butter Filling 6 Apples 1 cup sugar 3 tablespoons cornstarch 1/4 teaspoons salt 1 cup of water 1 teaspoons vanilla Get Cooking To prepare the crumble: Place the Crumble ingredients in a bowl and stir with a fork until the mixture is completely combined To prepare the filling: Preheat the Oven to 350 F. Peel the apples and cut them in half. Remove the cores and cut the Apples in 1/4 inchs- thick weges. place the sugar, cornstarch, salt, water and vanilla in a large bowl and stir until combined. Add the apples and toss until coated Place one-half of the crumble mixture in an ungreased 9 by 13-inch pan and pat it down to form a Crust. pour the apple mixture unti the pan and spread the apples evenly over the Crust. sprinkle the remaining crumble mixture over the apples and bake for 40 to 45 mintues or until the topping is golden brown. Hello! Sorry I haven't been posting! I Just dont know what do post! lol Well Yesterday we went to the library I love that place! I found a Wonderful Book called......Children's Quick & Easy Its has Wonderful recipes That a Really Easy to make for just Hanging out!! This recipe is call frosted carrot cake! Yummy Lets Get cooking You Will need! 8 in (20 cm) Round cake Pan wax papper, Sharp knife, Grater or Food processor Sieve, large bowl, Wooden spoon, whisk or Fork, Bowl ,spoon Skewer, wire rack and Butter knife! For The Cake! :Butter for greasing cake pan: :4 large Carrots: : 2 cups (225 g) Flour and 5 teaspoons Baking powder: :Pinch of Salt: :2/3 cup (140 g) Soft Brown sugar: :Grated zest of 1 orange: :2 teaspoons ground cinnamon: :1 Cup (115 g) Chopped roasted hazelnuts or chopped walnuts: :1/2 Cup (55 g) Dried Coconut: :2 Large Eggs: :2/3 Cup (150 ml) Sunflower Oil: :Juice of 1 Orange: For The Frosting 8 oz (225 g) Cream Cheese 6 tablespoons (85 g) Butter 1 Cup (115 g) Confectioners' Sugar For the Marzipan Carrots 8 oz (255 g) marzipan orange and green food Coloring Making the Cake 1. preheat the oven. Grease the Cake pan. Cut out a Circle of waxed paper the same size as the pan and cover the Base with it. 2. Scrub or peel the carrots the trim off their tops. grate the Carrots using a grater or a processor. 3. Sift the flour the Baking powder into a bowl. mix in the carrots, salt, sugar, orange zest, Cinnamon, nuts and Coconut 4. beat the eggs. Add the eggs sunflower oil, and orange juice to the cake mixture and mix everything together Well. 5. Spoon the mixture into the cake pan. Bake it for 60 to 75 minutes until a skewer pushed into the center comes out clean. 6. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 to 15 minutes, then remove it from the pan and out it on a Wire rack to finish cooling! Decorating The Cake!! 1. Beat The cream Cheese, Butter, and confectioners' Sugar in a bowl with a wooden spoon until the mixture is soft And Creamy. 2. spread the cream- cheese frosting evenly over the top of the Cooled cake, using a Butter knife dipped in warm water. 3. knead orange and green food Coloring into two balls marzipan,then mold carrots for the Top of the cake!! Here is a recipe I though looked Really Yummy! its called Banana orange smoothie You'll Need: 1. Ice 2. one cup of orange juice 3. two peeled bananas 4. A blender Get cooking: 1.Fill the blender jar about 1/3 full of ice. 2. Pour the orange juice into the blender. Put the lid on tight! 3. Starting with a slow speed on the blender, chop the ice and then using a higher speed, mix the orange juice and ice until they are slushy! 4. Take the lid off the blender and add the bananas. put the lid back on. 5. Blend until the bananas have completely disapperared into the slush. 6. Hello! My frist recipe is From the FamilyFun Magzine!! Its Called Pizza Salad!! Ingredients! 1 cup Fresh mozzarella 1/3 Cup thin Pepperoni, Quartered 1/2 Cup fresh mushrooms, Sliced 3/4 Cup diced Green Bell Pepper 1.(2.25 once) Can sliced Oilves Drained Small head of leafy Lettuce 1/2 cup Salad croutons ITalian Dressing 1/3 Cup Oilve Oil 2 Tablespoons Red wine Vingar 2 Tablespoons Parmesan 1/4 teaspoon, Salt 1/8 Teaspoons, pepper pinch of sugar Get Cooking 1. Combine all the dressing Ingredients in a large Bowl and whisk the mixure Well 2. Add mozzarella, pepperoni,Tomatoes,Mushrooms,Green Bell Pepper, and Olives to the bowl and toss the mixture to distrubute the dressing 3. Hello! My first recipe is From The Sleepover cookbook By Hallie Warshaw It's Called Bowtie pasta Salad! Ingredients 1 package (1pound) farfalle (Bow-tie) pasta 2 cups cherry tomatoes, cut in half 16 ounces (2cups) mozzarlla cheese,cut into 1/2-inch cubes 2 jars (about 1 1/2 cups) marinated arichoke hearts, drained and cut into small pieces 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil 1/4 cup olive oil 3 tablespoons red wine vingar pinch of salt, pinch of pepper Utensils & Tools Dry mesuring cups Measuring spoons large pot large mixing bowl Colander Get cooking! 1. Bring a lage pot of water to a boil and cook the pasta according to the package intructions 2. In lage mixing bowl, combine the tomatoes,mozzarella,artchocke hearts, basil, olive oil and Vinegar 3. When the pasta cooked, drain in a colander. Immediately run cold water over the pasta for 1 minute. drain again. 4. Add the pasta to mixing bowl and mixing bowl and mix all ingredients together. 5. add salt and pepper.serve in individual bowls Makes 8-10 My Next recipe is from the family fun magazine From july-August 2008 It's called Corn on the Cobcake! You Need! . White and yellow jelly beans (We use jellybelly) . white frosted cupcakes . white suger decorating . yellow starburst candies . Corn holders . Corn plates Get cooking For Each ear press rows of Jelly beans kernels into three frosted cupcakes. Line up the cupcakes and sprinkle decorating sugar acoss the tops. To make cakdy Butter, Microwave a starbust for 8 seconds, stretch into a melted butter shape, then set it on top if the center of the cupcake! Add Corn holder to each end of the cob and Serve on Corn Plate! Here is the picture of it in the magazine!
