Whew! We had a wonderful vacation and I made it through the first week of catch-up at work. Even managed to clean house a bit today and FINALLY helped Paige sew up the dress fabric we'd purchased last month. Yes, I know it 's a summer dress. Still, she can wear a shirt under it. (And I was able to work on my laundry pile while she sewed it)

After we finished her dress I decided to whip one up for her doll. I'd chopped the top off a turtleneck T-shirt I was throwing away, knowing it would come in handy. We decided to attach the skirt to the ribbing top to make a dress. Took a total of 15 minutes. (or less) I even made another "top" for her doll to wear with other outfits.

It turned out pretty cute.
