Whatever you do, when you're going to order something from a catalog or online be sure and do a search for "coupon codes". It can nearly always save you $$ and only takes a few seconds. Here are two examples from the last week alone.

My daughter had saved up her hard-earned money to purchase this dog playset from Lillian Vernon.

Through the catalog, shipping was nearly $7. By Googling "Lillian Vernon coupon codes" we found a code for $4.99 shipping off any order. Not great, but for her, $2 is a big deal.

Next, I had to renew some domain names for work. There were quite a few to be renewed. Thankfully, I thought to check for codes and Googled "Godaddy.com coupon codes". I quickly found one that would take $3 off EACH domain name renewal.

So be sure, whatever you're purchasing, to do a little sleuthing to find out if you can't save a few bucks in the process. It all adds up, right?
