Days of School

Really, how long is it going to take to tell myself that I just can't leave readers hanging for months at a time? Somebody PLEASE slap, pinch, or keel haul me for all I care! I’ve been far too naughty.

Ok, after my long unexplainable absent, I will tell of my life. In the land of High Country (my enrichment co-op), classes have restarted after a holiday break. I sailed my ship in this week and began my duties (classes) in Taekwondo Leadership, Microsoft Office, Writing and Illustrating, and once again - Theatre Performance. I also serve meals twice to pay my dues to High Country so as not to be in their debt. Unfortunately this is my last semester and will graduated in May. However, I look forward to preparing to take the voyage of the next step in life.

Drama, drama, drama! Hold fast mates, this daring captain has her heart set on TWO plays this year. From my theatre class, "Romeo and Julie".... yes, Julie is right as this play is a modern day version and a comedy. Second I plan to audition for a musical - "The Beauty and The Beast"! I'm so happy I think I'm gonna burst my pirate coat button's right off! :)

Sick Days Are Days With Time

Ahoy mateys. You would have thought that the blasted scurvy was upon me! But I still be alive. Oo! It feels like a thousand swords in me throat and me neck in an iron brace. I'm also lead to believe that some foul being has clubbed me noggin too. Ah, but that be no way of talkin' when I feel like I have struck gold! Aye, this pretty pirate is grand when she bares a belt of royal purple from the ship of Taekwondo, level 5 in rank. There be more treasure under me sails, aye, I sailed to far off ports (cities) to writers conferences and returned with plunder: two cards from a publishing agent and a magazine editor. Me tales will not be flounderin' for much longer. Once I be a finishin' one, it'll be bound and shipped out to be read by many. This be me treasure.

Arggg! This blasted throat be a killin' me! Well mates, looks like I have to ship out and get some rest. I'll be a seein' ya soon with more tales of my adventures.

Long Gone

There is no explanation,
For how long I've been gone.
With no insperation,
The days can be long.

Tapped under assignments,
day in and day out.
To suffer from the anoyment
Of work, there is no dout.

To escape from the world,
That is my game.
To go to the world of words,
That is my name.

Poetry is not my thing,
But when it comes,
I enjoy anything
With open arms.

A nose buried in books,
A hand busy as a bee.
Writings have many hooks,
Ones that capture me.

I will not loose control,
When days are long.
They won't take my sole,
Life doesn't go wrong.

People find their path,
And mine is a gift.
I will make them laugh,
Like books gave me lift.

I won't loose my dream,
And I won't let go.
For I have been deamed,
A writer without foe.

I know it's a little wierd but that all that came to my mind. Sorry about not blogging in a long time.
That's it for now,

Ekk! So Much to Share - So Little Space to Tell It All

Ahoy there mateys! What do I have to say for myself? I haven't command me ship in over three mouths and all I can say is busy?!?! Well here is a list of what I've been up to and what not.
1. I tested and received my Orange Belt in Taekwondo.
2. Recovered from a sprained ankle (that wasn’t fun)
3. Passed the first semester of US History *gags*
4. Bought my vary first iPod about a month ago
5. Bought iTunes for the vary first time the other DAY
6. Gone to see National Treasure 2: The Book of Secrets and August Rush (awesome movie!) in theater
7. Celebrated Hanukkah. My coolest gift was my Class Ring. It has a starburst-cut amethyst stone with two glass diamonds on either side of it followed by my initials, one side of my ring has the word "Pirates" with a 4H clover under it, and on the other side is the name of my homeschool with a Star of David on a menorah under it. I LOVE my ring and don't take it off unless I'm sleeping or in the shower.
8. I'm going insane with a novel idea that needs to be completely planned out before I start writing it
9. And driving a lot in order to get my licenses.
YEAH! I've been BUSY!!!!

Everything: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cyheJ480LYA
I was sent this youtube video by a friend and it is vary touching.  It's a Lifehouse Everything Skit showing how much God loves us no matter how far we fall. I've watched it several times now, but I still cry at the end, knowing that both God and Jesus are always there to love and pick me up again. It is a wonderful video and I think everyone should watch it.
I hope everyone had a wonderful a Holiday and will have a Happy New Year! I know I will. Until later mates!

Reclaimed and, As Ever, Busy

Look out friends, I have returned and reclaiming my ship! For one, I thank every blogger who has left behind their well wishes for my 17th year. I still have to get used to the fact that I'm 17 and not 16! Anyways, as I have said already, I'm back and with a new style of writing as well as new events I'm taking part in.

The High Country Federation has taken me captive more than once this semester and I have attempted many escapades only to be caught and thrown to the teeth of what they call homework (though I personally think it is sharks made from paper).
Captain Davis of the vessel "U.S. History", seems to make her debts (homework) of the crew somewhat enjoyable, but one does believe that one is in over one’s head! She has arranged the crew into to two groups for a debate. I'm in charge of my little band, and they seem to look to me for everything, but I know they have it in them to stand firm and do their part.
Kindly Kahar's (pronounced: car) debts are few. Her ship, the "Health and CPR", is enjoyable but one mustn't loose focus. Last week, Captain Kahar gave the crew an open book review followed by a pop quiz. If the crew got a 100%, she said our reward would be our choice of pop because it was a pop quiz. I'm hope to receive my personal favorite: Rootbeer!
Then there is Magnificent Montel, mistress and captain of the "Theatre Performance”, a friend of mine with hardly any debts of her crew. If you ask me, I think her ship is more of a cruise than the privateer vessel that it is. We are putting one a play called I Never Saw Another Butterfly at the end of the semester. It is a Holocaust play and a sad one at that, but I find it a treasure of the world among other plays. The crew is in a time of waiting, a time of auditions, to see what role we will take on in this voyage.

Other than my debts/homework for the High Country Federation, I do enjoy my voyage on the TaeKwonDo. Master Kunkle is ever watchful of her apprentices and gives us a lot of praise. Last week, I tested and was able to rise in rank, from White to Yellow sash (I mean belt). I was so excited! I can’t wait until I sail to Port Dojawn (TaeKwonDo School) and meet the rest of my mates after our rank testing for a new voyage.

I must leave you my fellow bloggers and comrades. I salute you all with my sword and may the wind be in your sails. Weigh anchor, matties!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

To All Who Enter and Read....
Let it be known that, in the spirit of adventure and piracy that Redwall Window so loves, I, her mother (MiJuBriFarms) have invaded and captured her blog site. Let it also be known that as of 4:51 this morning, Saturday, August 18th, the fair maiden pirate princess known as "Redwall Window" is 17 years of age.  Everyone who enters this portal should leave a comment and well wishes to commemorate this event.  Failure to do so will result in punishment according to the pirate code.

Signed,
MiJuBri Farms
