Where's the spring temps?

After the first day of spring, we're in a deep freeze! The woodstove is crankin' - Saturday Ed and I had a teacher's meeting for our Sunday school curriculum and then after we had lunch at home with the kids, I took the 2 boys to see friend, Nick, play in an all-county band performance. In the end, we had lots of other kids involved that we knew from other schools. It was fantastic and well worth our trip. I got home and started to cook to realize my oven element was burned out...oh, joy! Sunday was our first Sunday school format with our new material and I taught it. It was fast and furious and I took a 4 hour nap when I got home...it was late nights and early morning...Monday was 4H presentation prep with Kate and we didn't finish until almost 8 pm and we are still working on it today! They have their time slot tomorrow at the Herkimer highschool with Sky doing his at 5 pm and Kate at 5:20. Sky is done but Kate is still putting on the finishing touches. This has been WAY more work than I thought for me when I signed them up. I'm rethinking these extra curricular events! Well...Ed is off to do gym class in Mohawk and I'm still not dressed...must get going now that he's out the door. Have a great day everyone!
