Jul. 20, 2006 - Thankful |
You know you are out of the first trimester of pregnancy when:
- You no longer measure how you feel on a scale from slightly yucky to really terrible.
- When your husband comes home and asks how your day was you start saying really good once again.
- You can make your kids laugh again.
- You start thinking of projects and chores and ideas to do again.
- You desire to get some exercise.
- You want to eat everything and a lot of it.
- People can tell you are pregnant just by looking at you now.
- You are just giddy about the coming baby.
- You are ready to get out of bed in the mornings.
- And the nesting instinct begins to get real strong.
I am so thankful to be past that first stage. I am also thankful for all the help and encouragement that I received from bloggshpere. I read the blogs of people that I want to learn from. Blogs of people that I think are doing well and hearing from these people (read your name here) that I would make it, that I was being prayed for, and that it is ok for my kids/family to have a season of a little less was very helpful for me. So thank you, I am blessed indeed.
Allow me to show off. Can you see my little sweetheart?

I have been reading your posts but havn't had time to leave a note. Crazy days!
When I saw your sono, I got butterflies. You are so positive and I am glad to know your up and going again. Empathy!
Stacy's got talent. Just seeing her ideas got my creative nerve twitchn'. That's all I got - a nerve. I attempt to nurture it but it can be a chore! I am all about gleaning and copying other peoples 'gifts'. Thanks for sharing this one!

| What a perfect description of each of my pregnancies--and I am so glad once again to be in the second stage--I've been taking advantage of this time in many ways! God's grace must have to cover us, I guess just one more illustration as to why we need Him so desperately! |

Amy,
Congratulations on your pregnancy and especially on graduating from the yucky part! Isnt it wonderful to feel well again! I am currently 16 weeks preggy.
It is such a small world we actually seem to have a lot in common. I also have 3 boys ages 5, 3 and 19 months. I am also one of 3 sisters and I am the eldest :-)
Maybe this time around we will have our girls!!!
I will be praying for you to have a healthy, safe pregnancy!

for all the lovely, kind words.
And Tiany, how neat that our families are so similar! It would be fun to try the girl thing, but I will also feel mighty comfortable doing the blessed boy thing again! Are you going to find out? I think I read on your blog that you are going to soon, right? We are not going to find out, we really enjoy the suprise!
Again and I really can't say it enough all the kinds words mean a lot!
