Reforming Motherhood

Sep. 1, 2006 - Works for me!

If you've been blogging long enough, you've noticed that some people do this Works-For-Me Wednesday thing.  The idea is that on Wednesdays, you post an idea that is working for you and share it.  I've always kind of liked reading those ideas, but I would never hop on board the Works-For-Me Wednesday thing myself.  Quite frankly, I'm just not sure I have that many ideas that are working for me!  I think I'd get to about the third Wednesday and think, "Just what have I gotten myself into?" and have to scratch that plan altogether.

But I do like to read other peoples' working-for-them ideas.  I stumbled across this one the other day and just have to share the wealth of this good idea with you.  (Thank you, Toblerone).  If you want a fun and creative way to spice up communication with your husband, go read it.  (Except for my husband.  Honey, you can't go.  Sorry.)  But the rest of you, check it out.  And then please come back to let me know that yes, you thought it was a good idea.

And have a wonderful Friday!

~Stacy

Sep. 1, 2006 - great idea

That's a great idea. I'm assuming bath crayons aren't hard to wash off? Because we have some bath paints that a silly aunt bought our daughter and they are a real pain to get clean. I'll have to go out and find some bath crayons.

Isn't it a fun idea? I love it.
I already have "tc" (for tub crayons) on the shopping list. We had some once for the kids and they came off easily. I also noticed that in the comments to that post, someone said they'd used dry erase markers on their mirror for the same reason. I like the shower idea best (but prefer markers to crayons) so may be picking up both! :)

Sep. 3, 2006 - Hi

Posted by bubbebobbie
I stumbled on to your blog from AussieinAmerica's. And I am wondering if congratulations are in order? The 26th you surrender all to the Lord and camping you are uncomfortably pregnant? Did I misread that? I am praying that I didn't misread it and that the Lord has blessed you once again. My daughter is the same age as you (she is the mother of six) and my husband's name is Mike. We also just came home from camping at Lake Shasta. (and I need my Mike to upload pictures as well. Blessings to you, Bobbie
