My oldest daughter, Grace, will turn 13 in just a few weeks. We are on the verge of beginning a new season of parenting that is both exciting and scary.
Recently, Grace and I had a chance to get a way to the nearby mountains for some one on one time together. We went through the Passport2Purity Cds and workbook by Dennis and Barbara Rainey. My friend Teri did this with both of her girls and so I was inspired by her experience to do the same. I am so glad we did this! We had such a great time. We ate a lot and goofed off quite a bit too. Grace told me over and over again how much fun she was having. I would highly recommend this material. I feel that the Raineys handle the issues of purity Biblically and with thoroughness and tact. They use fun object lessons to talk about dating, friends, marriage, etc. There were some minor areas I had disagreement with, and we got a chuckle from the funky memory verse music, but over all it was well worth the money.

Grace and I mimicking the funky-jazzy memory verse songs (No, we're not trying to squirt glue into our mouths -- those are our mics)
