List after not before

I think I have discovered the path to successful housekeeping!

All this time I have been attempting to conform my day to the checklist.  I've had it all backwards.

The secret is to conform the list to the events of the day.

For instance:

* Wake up- check

* Take shower- check

* Kiss babies good morning- check

* Make breakfast for kids- check

* Kiss husband -check

* Send hubby out to work- check

* Turn cartoon on- check

* Take clothes out of dryer- check

* Take clothes to living room-check

* Fold them/ put away- check

* Hold Lindsey and tell her how much i love her- check

* Remind my child to wipe after going potty-check

* Rocker Zeb and sing to him-check

* Look fish information up on computer-check

* Read about fish to the kids-check

* Tell Grace where the paper is that she had be looking for for 15 mins-check

* Help Lindsey make a lap book- check

* Remind Zeb that he doesn't need to change clothes 5 times a day-check

* Take the kids to the park-check

* Feed kids lunch-check

* Call hospice about picking up chair-check

* Blog-check

Wow see I feel like I have done so much and it is still early afternoon.

I think I will make more list at the end of the day and feel better about my day. I know there were things I left out like dishes, load dishwasher, pick up like at least 10 times today, but these are just a few things from my day.

I know I always feel better when I list what I have done versus looking at a list of what I did not get done! Thanks for adding me as a friend.

Best wishes with your blog!
