Awards...
I was given three awards and have not yet given them out to people. I thought now would be a good time to do it. The awards I was given were: The Rockin' Girl Blogger, the Blogging With A Purpose Award, and the Blogger Reflection Award. The people who gave the awards to me were: Rockin' Girl Blogger award was awarded by ThreeLittleLadies and SAMIAM. The Blogging With A Purpose Award was awarded by my Mother, JacqueDixonSoulRestES, and the Blogger Reflection Award was awarded by onedaymore. Here they are:
Rockin' Girl Blogger Award:
2. BrielleCostumes: Besides the fact I just met her, she has been one of my favourite bloggers since I have known about her blog. She designs some really beautiful costumes, including the beautiful Regency dress made for me. You should go take a look at all the costumes she has made since she started, she posts pictures of the finished works! Please check out her blog, and congratulate her on winning the award! 3. TheLordsDaughter: I love going to her blog and reading the poetry she writes! She is very talented in that area. She has a pretty blog that I think suits what she posts, the colours and everything. I would give her a five star rating if this had it! Please check out her blog, and congratulate her! 4. Shaiya: I love going to her blog and reading about her life. She is very sweet and gentle. She has one younger sister, Brea, whom I love very much, and think is a doll. 5. totustuus: Sylvia has been my friend for a long time. Though I haven't met her, I know a lot about her from reading her blog, and getting comments from her. She hosted a contest about Narnia a week or so ago. I got third place in the contest. She writes very good posts I think almost everyone will enjoy. I love reading about her life. Yes, maybe Tolkien should have made 6 books. That's a good idea! By the way, do you know if they are making a Hobbit movie? I saw your icon on your sidebar and I was just wondering if you knew anything about it. That would be really awesome if they did make The Hobbit into a movie!
Well, I'm not 100% sure that they're making a J.E. movie. I did see an icon on someone's blog for a movie called 'Finding Jane' but the main character was Anne Hathaway (probably as Jane) and Georgie Henley wasn't on the list on the front. I just double checked on the site that I found it on (spareoom.net) and it said that she's in a BBC version of J.E. that came out Christmas '06. This is the first I've heard of it, though.
And that's ok, I'm not upset about the booklist. I am actually reading a book that we got from Lamplighter called 'Stepping Heavenward' by Mrs. E. Prentiss. Have you heard of it?

And yes, my posts are often a week apart...too often, I'm afraid. Mom just said though that I should expect to post once a week so that if I don't get to post twice a week I won't get upset and if I do, it'll be a nice surprise. Does that make sense? I'm not sure if it does.
Oh, that's fine. Sorry I didn't get over to your HSB2 blog sooner! I love reading it almost as much as the Tea-house. I especially enjoyed your latest post, since I often find myself acting bossy and getting upset with my siblings. It is so good to know that I am not the only one!

I know what you mean. I just recently checked out quietcajun's blog myself because I had heard so much about her through you and your sisters, and I love her template! It is so beautiful and the colors go so well together. I wish I could fit lavender/purple into my NG template, but I can't find a header picture that would go well like that. Jocelyn came up with a template idea: a Queen Lucy theme with a bunch of girly colors, such as purple, light blue, shimmery pink & seagreen. The only problem is that I can't find a header picture. Don't worry - I think I'll keep my current template for a while yet, but when I feel like redoing it I might consider the other one!
Oh, dear, we're back to NG again...maybe I should have put these in a separate comment. This might be the longest comment I have ever written!
Ok, back to BlogTips. I actually changed my avatar to the lamppost because I thought it might look better. Which one do you like? Yes, you can call me SNG for short! I might even put that as my display name since Dad doesn't want my real name on my profile. I wish I could change it to my username...hmm.
Yes, I had musical notes for the bullet, but I put it into NotePad to save it and then copied it back and the symbols went away, so I'll have to put them all back. I haven't heard back from Arya to see if there's anything else she wants on it.
I really wish I could put more graphics on there, but the problem is I don't know where to find any, plus I'm not really allowed to surf the web. I'd make graphics, but I don't know how to yet, and we have the necessary software on only one computer. :( They are good ideas though, especially the music sheet. And I thought about instruments but she (arya) just said a green music template, so I don't know what kind of music she meant. But thank you for the Blog Tips!
Well...not too many people have been asking for templates. I know one person asked for help, and I commented her back but she hasn't gotten back yet and I don't know if she will. And another person asked for a Hello Kitty template (I have no idea how I'm going to do that one) and I haven't gotten back to her yet. Sooooo...'business' is kind of slow right now.
Hmm...that's an interesting suggestion for my title. I never thought about it that way before. I think I like it the way it is though, b/c it's a reminder of where we're really going someday. It could also mean that I'm going further up and further in with my walk with God. I don't really know. I've never really considered this before and I don't know what to say on the subject. Sorry if it doesn't really make sense. And no, I don't think you were being bossy at all! I'm glad you took the time to post your suggestions. :)
