The 13th Psalm.................

Sorry I haven't been blogging that much lately... I've been busy. I do not have a post typed up and ready for posting, so I thought I would post a quick Psalm for you guys to read before I go eat lunch. :) Hope you all enjoy this one. Sorry I missed the Saturday Psalm & Praise last week. I will try to post for you all more often. :)

The 13th Psalm

 1How long wilt thou forget me, O LORD? for ever? how long wilt thou hide thy face from me?

 2How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart daily? how long shall mine enemy be exalted over me?

 3Consider and hear me, O LORD my God: lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death;

 4Lest mine enemy say, I have prevailed against him; and those that trouble me rejoice when I am moved.

 5But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.

 6I will sing unto the LORD, because he hath dealt bountifully with me.

 It's a short one, but it will do until I can get an actual post up about what I have been doing lately. :) Have a great and blessed day! Many blessings fall upon the paths you tread...

I think this Psalm shows that sometimes we do struggle; we don't feel God and we struggle to stay 'with' God and his plan for us. This is where trust and faith comes - even when a terrible feeling settles in our heart. We need to REACH OUT and trust God when we can't feel him REACHING IN to us!
