You can click on the link above and go to the post where Jocelyn posted all the details. There is also a linky that you can sign if you like to join. There are about 92 people signed up to do it right now… isn’t that great?! But here is a bit of info for you -
THE PURPOSE
This meme is to not only keep a “memoir” (posts) of your homeschool year, but to make a way for homeschoolers to get to know each other. Each week, on Wednesdays, we’ll post a new theme and you can participate by posting it on your site with your own homeschool memoirs. Once you’ve posted, come back and sign the linky. We hope you’ll be encouraged, informed, and connected with other homeschoolers and glean from the different ways they do their homeschool.
THEME
The first theme begins today, August 20th, 2008. This week, we want to hear about YOU. The author behind the words. The Momma behind all the homeschooling kiddos. Just write up something about you, your family, and your home. How long you’ve been homeschooling and why you decided to homeschool. It doesn’t have to be anything lengthy at all, but we’d love to hear it! You might include a family photo too!
Also, if you haven’t already done so, grab the Homeschool Memoirs icon code (located in sidebar) to place on your site and join us!
Each week we will include a Mr. Linky to sign so people can visit your theme and see your answers. Please make sure you always add your *theme* link.

After you’ve signed up for the Homeschool Memoirs using the Mister Linky, go to your own blog and make a category just for our assignments and add the official button (code located on sidebar) to your sidebar to show you’re enrolled. You’re welcome to announce the BCM on your blog and invite your friends to join us as well!

Hey!
LOL in our house, the little kids are taught from an early age NOT TO TOUCH GUNS... until they are 12! =)
I didn't even think of posting pictures! I will... You may recognize some pictures (when I post them), because I don't have any pictures of it in my possession!
My favorite ALOF books were the Millie Keith ones.. then the Violet ones, then the Elsie ones! I haven't ever read the Laylie Colbert one, or the Kathleen ones, though I really want to!
We also have 4 other McLeans on HSB, too... cofeeiv, emily6m, kaitlynn7m, and Tessila. =D

Yeah... Joe is funny and weird! But he is an awesome brother ;) =D
Some people in our household are already thinking ahead to next year when the Saurez's come! LOL
I wouldn't be able to make any Bible reading commitments until October. The boys are challenging us girls to read so much a week.. but we ought to be finished by October! After that, I would be happy to join the challenge!

That's alright that you changed it to "Just Henry?" but I kind of had the same idea. =) Mine was where Henry answers the old man and says, "Just Henry." and since he's the main character, I thought it would be more appropriate. =)
But you can title it what you want on your blog, as long as you don't call it bluebonnets and applesauce.

I don't think I have ever done Abeka math. I don't know though, I've done so many it's hard to remember them all!
I hope it works out well.
I'm afraid I probably will not be joining your bible reading challenge. I am working on reading through the bible again on my own and I don't think I'm ready for another challenge yet.
