Scientists recently descovered a new specis(Kiwa hirsuta) of crustacian deemed the "Yeti Crab". The animal was so diverse they had to make a new taxinomic family for it to fit into.The "Yeti Crab", as it has been dubbed, is white and 15cm (5.9in) long, according to Michel Segonzac of the French Research Institute for Exploitation of the Sea (Ifremer). In what he has described as a "surprising characteristic", the animal's pincers are covered with sinuous, hair-like strands. It seems to reside around some Pacific deep sea hydrothermal vents, which spew out fluids that are toxic to many animals.
I believe that it is our duty to protect animals such as these, such diverse creatures deserve to have the chance to live

Nov. 4, 2006 - What if
what if we could live in peace, what if we could not try to kill each other all the time. what if we didnt destroy fragile habitats that serve as homes to amazing animals. me and the others of the Anti-Straw organization are trying to make this amazing thought a reality. the rainforest is a great example of how our greed and thoughtlessness couses the deaths of many amazing and diverse animals. there are also many amazing speces of plants that could hold the key to unlocking the cure to cancer and many other autoimmune desieases such as diabetes and many others. many of these forests are destroyed in the production of uneccesary items such as straws and toilet paper. if we could just be happy with drinking without a straw, or wipe with leaves the wourld would be a better place.think of the possibilitys that small sacrifices like these could entale.the thought of the greed that makes this dream hard to acheive makes me sick.

Nov. 4, 2006 - Straws, a petition
straws are very bad. there made from animals that dont deserve to die. cruel people make them, taking baby animals from there mothers and making them into straws. the process is so cruelly in-depth that i will not go into the details but it is grusome.
please, if you have any love i your heart at all for poor, defenseless animals please post a comment on this blog, saying that you agree with our humble plee.
Thank you for you support in our quest to save baby animals from a horrible death.
