In the Bunny Field In the winter field, two long ears twitch listening to crunchy footsteps, human-like eyes stare ahead, nostrils pulse on its heart-shaped nose, yellow teeth grind brown pellets, a cotton ball tail sways slightly, my winter boots too close, muscular legs spring forward. -Robin Jespersen |
