And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap if we faint not. Galatians 6:9

Feb. 1, 2008 - How to back up your blog

Posted in Bits and Pieces

A couple of years ago my mother bought herself and her daughters each an external hard drive so that we could store our pictures on them to protect our pictures from being lost if our computers crashed.  This past week my mother's external hard drive went bad and she lost most of her pictures.  She may still be able to get them retrieved but not without shelling out some big bucks.  This was probably just a bad one out of the bunch, but how do we know which ones those are?

After talking with a friend who is very computer savvy, he suggested having your photos saved to at least two different places.  So with that said, please take the time to get your photos backed up, whether it is having two external hard drives or storing them on your computer and your x-hard drive.

As another precaution you should also back up your blog.  I found this great site for instructions on how to do just that.

Hope this information helps.

Feb. 21, 2008 - backing up photos

Posted by HoneyBee10269

If you are able to burn cd's with your computer backing up your photo's to a cd is a good thing to do...that way if something happens to any of your hard drives you will still have all your photos! Also if you use an outside source for printing your photos (such as winkflash.com...which has unlimited storage) you could use their site as a back up for your photos just by uploading them. Hope you find this to be a helpful option as well!

Have a great day!
