Oct. 7, 2008 - An Ideal Life

Posted in Quotes and Such

To marry and have children is the ideal life for a woman.  What career could ever be as fine?  To give the world splendid men and women - isn't that the noblest thing a woman could possibly do?

Jan. 8, 2008 - A quick quote

Posted in Quotes and Such

I have a thousand things going on in my mind right now and I don't have much time so here is my post for the day.  A quote by my friend, Suzanne.

"Every home should come with its own set of teenagers."

They are a joy to watch, be around, such a blessing and tremendous helpers.  May you too be blessed with your own "set of teenagers".

Thank goodness I was never sent to school; it would have rubbed off some of the originality.

      ~Beatrix Potter

Give me four years to teach the children and the seed I have sown will never be uprooted.
        ~Vladimir Lenin

Give us the child for 8 years and it will be a Bolshevik forever.
       ~Vladimir Lenin

Since we are studying the early 1900's I looked up some quotes for people living at that time period.  These were just a few that stood out to me.
