This morning my sister, mom and I were doing our morning Bible when Mom pulled something up on the internet and read it to us. Its a really sad story but its amazing!!!!!!! The Littlest Firefighter
The 26-year-old mother stared down at her son who was dying of terminal leukemia. Although her heart was filled with sadness, she also had a strong feeling of determination. Like any parent she wanted her son to grow up and fulfill all his dreams. Now that was no longer possible. The leukemia would see to that.
Fireman Bob said, "Look, we can do better than that. If you'll have your son ready at seven o'clock Wednesday morning, we'll make him an honorary fireman for the whole day. He can come down to the fire station, eat with us, go out on all the fire calls, the whole nine yards! "And if you'll give us his sizes, we'll get a real fire uniform for him, with a real fire hat -- not a toy one -- with the emblem of the Phoenix Fire Department on it, a yellow slicker like we wear and rubber boots. They're all manufactured right here in Phoenix, so we can get them fast." The chief replied, "We can do better than that. We'll be there in five minutes. Will you please do me a favor? When you hear the sirens screaming and see the lights flashing, will you announce over the PA system that there is not a fire? It's just the fire department coming to see one of its finest members one more time. And will you open the window to his room? About five minutes later a hook and ladder truck arrived at the hospital, extended its ladder up to Bopsy's third floor open window and five firefighters climbed up the ladder into Bopsy's room. With his mother's permission, they hugged him and held him and told him how much they loved him. With his dying breath, Bopsy looked up at the fire chief and said, "Chief, am I really a fireman now?" "Yes, Bopsy, you are a fireman now," the chief said. With those words, Bopsy smiled and closed his eyes one last time. He passed away later that evening. |

Hi peoples I thought I would post a little bit about my self. My name is Kaycee, I am a sixteen year old PK ( Pastors Kid) girl. I live on a farm with my mom, papa (dad) and one of my three older sisters. The other two are grown and out of the house. My grandma and Jackie (Like an Aunt) and our two dogs, two cats and like 6 or 7 cows. I love to talk to people about almost any thing. KUMORICON IS AMAZING.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (an Anime Convention.) So on Friday my best friend her sister, my sister and their Grandma went to K-Con the one and only Anime Convention in Oregon (or so I think.) it was CROWDED with amazing people.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The first half of the day I went dressed up in a pink skirt, red poke a dot shirt, a BUNCH of hair clips, arm thing-es and SOCKS. (I am not that crazy it is a stile in Japan.) then the other half I went dressed up as Totoro (a big Anime thing-e) and I was getting HUGS and PICTURES every witch way.!!!! and I also had on a free hug thing-e.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So on Sunday I had an early birthday party.!!!!!!!!!!!! It was so much fun. we had a LOT of water games and at the end my sister and mom tried to poor a bucket of water on me so I grabbed one of my friends and pulled her in front of me and we ended up on the ground getting the water pored on both of us.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And for gifts.! I got a little Bunny and I named it Uob. (long story) and a BIG CARD.!!!!!!!!!. AND Candy plus ten dollars. and a REALLY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD BOOK.!!!!!!!!!!!! and a WEBCAM.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE ME WEBCAM.!!!!!!!!!!!!
